Normally always have issues or have a fear of seeing a cop until tonight the officers of Westland Police are very polite time efficient and understanding I just want to thank them for all the hard work they did they do
Edit: neighbors decided to get even and called on us and police are rude AF. We explained we live in a lower level apartment and all we want is quiet hours and our landlord does not do anything. Cops were called because I was sick today and vomiting loud and they called the police saying I was screaming and harassing them, news flash they are HARASSING us. My mom is disabled and they already put a hole in tire and smeared putty on the front drivers side of the car. We are supposed to move because peace and quiet doesn't exist. Cops blame us because we were frazzled when they pounded on our door.
This department is horrible! Everytime we call for help it takes them hours to show up. They don't do anything about the situation and my kids are taught to come to the police when they have problems but everytime something happens regarding my kids they don't protect them! That teaches my kids that they are on their own, so sad!!

Police office hung up on me! I've been dealing with illegal activity at my apartment such as; drugs and neighbors dealing drugs and purposely causing my mother health problems from the loud noises. They stomp, run for literally the whole night, have 4 kids who are under 16 and filming me at night. Call police because my mother is frazzled and police think they are Gods which why no one takes the police seriously. I explained illegal drug activity but she got frustrated and hung up. As bad as I want to be a police officer for Westland, dispatch needs to chech THEIR attitude and their tone. Don't appreciate getting a nasty aas tone from dispatch. The patrol cops are very friendly twords me, just not dispatch.
For abuse to my best friend /sister while she was 7 months pregnant. Her head was smacked off the top of the car "on accident" and she was denied medical attention, food, or water.
